Bosch Performance Line CX Race Motor Overview
The Bosch Performance Line CX Race Motor is a limited-edition Smart System drive unit built for high-performance electric mountain bikes. This BDU3760 motor delivers up to 85Nm of torque and 400% support in Race mode.
These motors are brand new Bosch-sourced overstock units with 0km use. They also come with 12 months of remaining warranty. However, each motor is supplied unprogrammed and must be configured for the intended bicycle before use.
Programming must be completed by an authorised dealer for the bicycle brand or through a suitable specialist programming service. Details of an online programming service can be provided after purchase.
This motor is designed only for compatible Bosch Smart System e-bikes. It is not compatible with older Bosch eBike System 2 or non-Smart System motors.

Bosch Performance Line CX Race Motor Performance & Use
The Bosch Performance Line CX Race Motor is designed for demanding eMTB riding. It provides fast power delivery and strong assistance on steep climbs, technical sections and race courses.
Race mode delivers support more quickly than the standard riding modes. As a result, the motor responds strongly from the first pedal input and helps the bike accelerate rapidly.
In addition, support remains available at high pedalling cadences. Therefore, riders can continue to receive assistance during fast climbs and hard sprint efforts.
The Extended Boost function briefly continues assistance after pedal pressure reduces. This can help the rider clear roots, rock steps and other obstacles where continuous pedalling is difficult.
However, Race mode has a very direct response. It is intended for experienced riders who can manage strong acceleration on loose or technical terrain.

Race Mode
Race mode provides the fastest and most direct support available on this drive unit.
It delivers up to four times the rider’s pedal input. Therefore, even a small pedal movement can produce rapid acceleration.
The mode is designed for technical climbs and competitive riding. It also extends the motor’s overrun response, which helps maintain momentum when pedalling briefly stops over obstacles.
Support strength, dynamics and other available settings may depend on the bicycle manufacturer, installed software and current Bosch system configuration.
Compatibility
