Founded in 2012, The Online Cycle Shop began as a small, home-based business buying and selling bikes locally. Over the past decade, we have grown into a trusted cycling supplier, working with leading dealers, distributors, and manufacturers across the UK, EU, and beyond.
Our Journey
- 2012–2015 – Started locally, building relationships with customers and suppliers.
- 2015 – 2020 – Expanded by purchasing overstock and return bikes from distributors, rental companies, and liquidation sales. This opened the door to strong supplier partnerships.
- 2020 – 2024 – Began working with major EU companies, buying large quantities of overstock and OEM parts. Remaining stock was offered to the public at below trade prices. Stock was moved to fulfilment centres which helped us process and send orders same day, often with delivery the next day!
- 2025 – With several UK retailers closing, we secured more suppliers and increased weekly deliveries of overstock and OEM products.
- December 2025 – Launched our new custom B2B & B2C website, offering instant stock access, fast dispatch, global shipping, finance options, and seamless ordering.
- 2026 – In 2026 we will continue to expand our stock and product range to offer you the best deals and our marketing team have been planning some exciting projects so keep an eye out for merchandise, free giveaways and much more!
