Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 Motor – BDU450 CX (B-Grade)
The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 motor (BDU450 CX) is a high-performance e-bike drive unit designed for demanding riding conditions. With 85Nm torque and 250W power, it delivers strong acceleration and excellent climbing ability on steep terrain.
These Bosch CX Gen4 BDU450 motor (B grade) are brand new but have external damage from manufacturing or storage.Bosch will then not put these out for normal sale so they come to re-sellers such as ourselves.
In some cases the mounting holes will need tapping. Previous customers have had this done by their local shop whilst fitting.
In addition, the compact design and low weight of around 2.9kg allow the motor to integrate cleanly into modern e-bike frames. As a result, the bike maintains a natural riding feel while still delivering powerful assistance.
These motors provide pedal assistance up to 25km/h and are built for Bosch eBike systems used on high-end e-MTB and trekking bikes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – PROGRAMMING BEFORE DELIVERY
We highly recommend programming before delivery. After purchasing we will be in touch to get the exact spec from your bike. We can send the motor to a specialist programmer as most bike shops do not have the correct software to do this.
We can do this for £49 extra and the motor will be programmed to your bikes exact spec. Your local bike shop (even if they are a Bosch dealer) will not have the correct software to program these motors.
The motors currently have blank software installed so in many cases they are plug & play but if you want it to be programmed for your bikes exact spec please add the programming option to cart and checkout (linked below).

As you can see there is small scuffs, chips and/or marks on the outside of the casing. These do NOT affect the motor or performance.Some motors will have more damage than shown on the photos. With previous sales some customers have switched the casing with their old motor if in better condition.
