You might not be looking for the lightest equipment there is, but you should never have to sacrifice performance. Molded from the same DNA as XTR, DEORE XT and SLX, the new M6100 series delivers Shimano’s proven 12-speed technologies at DEORE level (no box packaging).

The heart of the DEORE groupset is the 1x12-speed drivetrain system. The Micro Spline hub system enables the use of the large 10-51T cassette with stainless steel sprockets, which now features HYPERGLIDE+ shifting technology. In combination with an improved chain, this enables smooth and fast gear changes - both upwards and downwards. The RAPIDFIRE PLUS shift levers can be operated with Two-Way Release by pushing with the thumb or pulling with the index finger. The chainring can be easily replaced on the stiff crankset thanks to the Dirct-Mount assembly, making it easy to adjust your setup. Thanks to additional improvements, DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ ensures a secure hold of the chain. The friction damper of the rear derailleur, which stabilizes the cage, the special tooth profiles of the chainring, the optimized contact surfaces of the chain and the large guide and tension rollers with 13 teeth ensure both a secure hold of the chain and quiet running.
