Designed to bring a smile to your face and confidence to your trail riding, the Cannondale Habit 5 Mountain Bike is a fast and thrilling ride. The SmartForm C1 Alloy frame is light but rugged, making it perfect for the rigours of trail riding and cross country exploring alike. Cannondale's Flow Seeker geometry takes advantage of a slack head angle and steep seat angle to provide a planted and stable ride with a low bottom bracket and long wheelbase.
The superb ride quality is largely down to a proprietary suspension system called Proportional Response, whereby both shocks are balanced to ensure the same ride characteristics across all frame sizes. On this model, the 140mm of travel at the front is catered for by a RockShox 35 Silver R fork, while the 130mm rear suspension comes from a RockShox Deluxe Select shock with adjustable rebound. For more control on the descent, pop the saddle down and out of your way with the TranzX dropper seatpost.
Shimano's Deore M5100 11-speed shifters and derailleur deliver fast and efficient gear changes through the wide-ranging cassette, so you're always ready for another steep climb or fast flat section. With 29" WTB rims teaming up with Shimano MT400 hubs, you're getting a quality wheelset that rolls fast. There's ample traction too, thanks to the Maxxis Ardent tyres.
